  1. Crowdsourcing is a new technique in the humanities that I would like to explore as a means of building a seventeenth-century archive on Indians from Canada to Florida. The work would involve scanning and digitizing documents in county courthouses, family records, church registers, deeds and wills, or any other record on Indians during the period 1600-1700.
